- What Is It?

Defencell is a Force Protection System. It comprises a series of fabric cells joined together to produce a honeycomb-like structure that is then filled with sand, earth, rocks and similar material. It provides protection against blast (pressure), ballistic penetration (fragments) and can be used as a vehicle barrier as well.
