Defencell™ Force Protection Systems are low maintenance, non-ricocheting tactical training ballistics barriers designed for use on military, law enforcement, and civilian outdoor firing ranges. Proven to stand up against small arms, cannon, mortar, artillery, and other fragmenting weapons, Defencell is the next generation of live fire and tactical training protection.
Defencell engineers have extensive combat engineering experience and have designed Defencell to meet the changing needs of today’s expeditionary soldiers. Using minimal resources, labor, and training, Defencell produces permanent or improvised military firing ranges.
Defencell’s rapid disassembly characteristics ensure that abandoned tactical training ranges will not fall into enemy hands.
Defencell features configurable thicknesses and stackable capabilities to meet modern military range ballistics requirements. Compact for man portability, a single pallet of DC3's (36 units), when filled, can provide a 5 foot tall, 190 foot long protective barrier.
Such a wall would contain almost 230 cubic yards of fill and provide protection from all commonly used weapons up to RPG's. All units are 16 foot long and 20 inches high, and vary in width from 28 inches (DT1) to 87 inches (DC4).
