EMOE Training
Explosive Method of Entry (EMOE) training is an effective breaching technique used in urban environments. Recent operations in Iraq and Afghanistan have highlighted the need for realistic live EMOE training before troops deploy.
Using wood, metal-basket gabions, or similar EMOE training materials to simulate compound walls and local conditions produces a fragmentation hazard that can prevent troops from forming tactically realistic positions. Conducting EMOE training with Defencell allows troops to stand closer to the breaching point with no inherent secondary fragmentation.
Defencell has devised a method of constructing training walls that behave in a realistic and consistent manner when attacked, helping troops train as they would operate. The breached area can be quickly replaced, while the design of Defencell allows small arms live firing to be incorporated into exercises as well.
