Logistical Advantage

Featuring 100% geotextile cellular containment technology, Defencell units are easily compacted for man portability. The 9.5 lb DT1 system allows troops to hand-carry a complete ballistics protection system that can withstand bullets, blasts, and near-miss artillery.

Like the DT1, the larger Defencell units (DC2, DC3, and DC4) can be airdropped at-altitude with minimal risk of damage. 

A full 100-man base fits in one military conex (20 foot container), and can be sling-loaded to remote locations. The all-textile construction allows pallets of Defencell units to be airdropped with minimal risk of damage.

Defensive Advantage

A Defencell unit's light weight does not compromise its ability to protect personnel and equipment. Defencell products have been bullet and blast tested to protect against small arms, cannons, mortars, artillery, Vehicle Based Improvised Explosive Devices (VBIEDs), and other fragmenting weapons.

The Defencell system's all-textile construction minimizes risk of secondary fragmentation and radio frequency interference caused by wire mesh gabions.
